What lighting should I buy and from whom?

I have a Digital Rebel and am planning to use it for fashion shoots for my company catalog. We are in need a softbox, light and stand rig that gives us flexibility and quality without breaking the bank. We bought Britek but had some issues and returned them. I am unfamiliar with the different brands and where to buy them.

We will set it up indoors be shooting people wearing t-shirts.
