...people are gonna tell me there is a strong magenta cast to this image? LOL :lol: Well, before anyone says this... I'll tell you now that she is sunburned BADLY, and this IS the color of her face right now.

I sorta feel sorry for her because she's my daughter, but she just went through this on Friday with her back. She was told to put on sunscreen and she didn't. She was asked if she had a couple of times and she lied and said she did... BUSTED!

poor thing. I hope she learned a lesson. My mother would take me to the lake all day and never put sunscreen on me. I would come home burned. I would be up all through out the night taking baths.

Not anymore. Her back was really bad and she was up crying in bed from it. We applied vinegar which is supposed to take the sting out... it does actually. She's ok now though.

Not to be a pest, but seriously, don't let her burn like that - I was diagnosed with melanoma at the age of 22, and have battled it several times since. I don't have a lot of freckles or moles, and only had a few bad sunburns as a kid. Melanoma doesn't run in the family, so it was a little shocking. Every sunburn can contribute to that scare, so make sure she gets that suncreen on!

Poor little thing - I hope she's feeling better soon!

Better make sure she puts SPF 50 on, John. I have had basal cell CA from burning my white skin at the beach where I grew up. Not so fun to have it treated. :(
