I haven't used the burst mode much with flash.
Canon d10 with 550EX.
Is there any problem shooting 8 bursts consecutively at raw or Max Jpeg?
Anything I should consider?
Thanks.

i Use to wonder the same thing, in most situations the flash has no problems keeping up with the camera. If you are stopped all the way down in a dark room at ISO 100 then yes...but typically no you wont have an issue.

I just tried it with my 10D/420EX.. Night time in a room brightly lit with incandecent lamps.
ISO 200 28mm @ f/4.5
I shot the headboard of my bed.. Half the scene was white wall..
I did a burst of 9.. Fhe flash only fired 7 times..

If you had perfect AA batteries inside the 550EX, then it might be able to perfectly keep up with the camera. However, AA batteries that are perfect are hard to find. A compact flash battery will supplement the current available for the flash tube, but that is another thing to buy.
I wonder if lithium primary cells would work for that. Expensive, but good.
