I don't know if anyone here can comment on photography stuff in Japan, but I'm going there in about 3 weeks, and was hoping to get a storage device like an Epson P2000 or Vosonic before I went. The kinda high prices have kept me away, and have been thinking about maybe buying one in Japan, and perhaps they would have a larger selection?

Any ideas from anyone over there?

Thanks

Hi I was over there in March. I saw a few camera stores but the one with the largest range that I saw was BIC cameras (I was at the Shinjuku, Tokyo branch). Price wise they were cheaper than the UK, however, I don't think there is a huge difference if you compare with US prices. Also you have to check for regional warranty.

Google 'Digital Foci'. They have a product called the Photo Safe, which stores files direct from memory devices to folders on harddisk. 80GB storage can be readily found in the $160-200 range
