Did the first BMX competition this past weekend. Got the images posted and thought you might take a look. Any and all comments welcome.

18 views and not one comment? Did anyone look at the gallery or just the 3 logo photos?

The link to the gallery isnt very clear, I suggest that you link the large word "gallery" I suspect many people clicked, got nothing and left.
Just a thought.
Great pics though hard to choose a fav I like the guy riding bareback and grey helmet, another point none of them are labeled or titled so I cant tell you which pic I like. Just another thought. :D
Good work on the photos
Need a little work on the website (sorry for the crit but it may be some of the reasons for lack of comments on your gallery)

The link to the Gallery isn't very clear? The word gallery is right there and below it is a clickable link that opens the gallery. So what your saying is I should click thru to the actual gallery and then put that as the link on the message.
As far as captions go, I am not going to label 120 photos most of which I don't know the names of the guys in the shot.
edit: I see what you mean about not knowing which shot you liked or disliked. When I go to that page there is an image number on each image. When I swicthed screen names and tried accessing the page the image numbers were gone. I went back and found that the captions option was turned off. I could see them but you couldn't. That is fixed and it now lists images by number.

Hey Jeff
What I was trying to say about the link is that most people including myself see the large word 'Gallery' and expect that to be the link, only when I realised it wasnt, did I go looking for the correct link, which as you said is directly beneath. I would hazard a guess that quite a few people would not look for the link and just leave after clicking 'Gallery' and getting nowhere. This is just another thought that making the link a little bigger or bolder would help.
It seems like no one else is commenting or agreeing so it might be that I am just talking crap...lol
In short, make it simple for people to find your galleries.

Thanks and I see what your saying. Unfortunately that is the way it is set up. I have no control over that. Maybe after this weekend when I get the inline skaters gallery up it will become more evident. Maybe changing the wording on the clickable link would help too.
