about how many photos do you take a month?

i've only had my 300d for about a month now and i've taken about 8000 pix, altho that's a lot, i took 9200 with my a80 in 6 months and a lot of the 8000 have been learning the camera.

I've bought my ixus 300 3 years ago, it has now 12000 pics taken
I've bought the G3 1 year ago, it has now 4000 pics on the counter.
so : (12000 + 4000) / 36 = 444.44
average about 450 a month.

I use both cameras, but on different occasions.

ive taken about 4000 with my 300d in 2 months...about 2000 of those are of my desk the first week i had it...then i found out you could do things like hold the hutter open and i learned what f stops was and all that stuff, its a whole new world....lol...about 500 of those were fraternity stuff, events and all that, and id say the last month is when i have become really interested in photography...

It varies a lot...some months I go pic crazy, others I don't. I have had the 10D since 29 Apr (Call it May to round up) and it is now Jun. I was gone for 2 months and w/o 10D and took the 35mm instead. So 13 Months elapsed, less the 2 I was gone makes 11 months. Shot counter is about 6800. So that seems like about 612 pics per month average.

Just think of the cost of develpoing that much film!

I heard somewhere that our 300D/D Rebel has a shtterlife around 50,000 or something.
What happens then?
Are we screwed?
I know I have a 4 year extended warenty and that I could just take it back but what happens after the warrenty is up?
Is it so costly to replace that I would just need to buy a new camera?

I guess I probally shoulden't worry because I will most likely have upgraded by then.

Oh and I average about 1000 per month right now, but i only see that nuber rising since I have only had the camera 2 months.
