Pretty sunrise. It most definitely has potential... a couple pointers (if you want): It is a bit green, it might look better with more orange and red instead. The horizon is dead center... can you crop it so that you move the horizon into one of the 3rds?
I really like the bench shot, have you tried it in black and white?

Really not time to catcy up thourghly. I did hear about some drama in the drama factrory (WF), Pretty Baby photos, and Nekkid folks (I know they are natives and are supposed to be). Any way I have a little Rant for you guys
RANT ON:
I went to Barber Motorsports Park today to shoot the Porsche race. I had a great time. Shooting a race is really work though. I am sun burned from all get out. I have never ever in my life seen as many freaking N!k*ns in my life. I could have visited all the circuit city's, Best buys, Wolf Camera in Birmingham and there would not have been that many in stock. What is the world is this world comming to. Is someone feeding people propaganda? Poor people they have got to be confused or on drugs. I saw 2 out of 7 pros with N. OMG I almost got sick to my stomach. I almost went home. I was walking proudly with my new 30D/70-200f/4.0L/1.4XTCII and they just looked at me like I was white trash. (or was that envy?) Short lenses too. Click Click Click. I did not get it. No one was panning so what the he(( were they shooting the bushes in the background. Oh and this one "Pro" that could not have been more than 19, chimped more than I did. And I chimpped a lot because I was not used to the 30d. Disgusting.
Rant off.
Carry on with your regularly scheduled Chatting.
I hope you guys weren't offended by the breasts...?? Was it wrong to post them here (it hardly seems like a glamor and nude shot)

Perhaps I need to keep notes - or better still, does anyone have the Cliff's notes I can borrow?
I'll have a set as well...
Ok - here's rubber boy doing his rubber thing. *shudder*

Looks like shoulder problems in the making.
I just cropped it a bit, and played with the colors, taking out a bit of the green. I know you can get better colors than mine when you play with the original. :D I just wanted to mess with it because I'm jealous.... I've never seen a sunrise over water. *sigh*
come visit me... I won't get up inthe morning with you but I will point you in the right direction the night before :)

.... I've never seen a sunrise over water. *sigh*
*GASP* I love watching sunrises and sunsets when there's nothing around you but ocean. Amazing. You're missing it.
I have, however, seen my share of sunrises over MOUNTAINS. :p Big, massive, gorgeous mountains.
OK, you win there. We have some big mountains, but nothing that qualifies for Big or Massive.
You do realize that the animals are the *most* active this time of year in the rain? :)
Great, now you tell me.
This needs to be put into your 'POTN Book Deux' folder.
Don't have one. Probably won't either.
How do you like your tammy 17-50 f/2.8?....I've been thinking of getting that with my birthday money comming soon...I really have the need to put my 50mm f/1.8 into retirement for a while :(
I know you didn't ask me, but I've become a serious Tamron fan over the last few months. I've got both the 17-50 and the 28-75. Most bang for the buck lens out there.
Oh...and unless you are REALLY wanting a wider angle lens, may I suggest the Tamrom 28-75 2.8? It is my most used 'every day' lens. LOVE it.
Yeah, that.
Wow! Puddle, those are some great shots! :) Love the colors!
Thanks, Stefan. :D

It was Oklahoma and Joe was the youngest in the cast, he's 8.
Realizing I'm partial I have to say I love seeing kids take an interest in theatre. The interacting between the generations is one of the things I really enjoy.
oh, I chimp chimp chimp with the best of 'em. In fact, I'm THRILLED with the 3in screen on this camera...for the first time I can SEE what I just shot
Me three! Though I usually have the view that shows the histogram on and only look at the picture for blinkies. Once in awhile I'll turn to full picture just to see if I got what I hope I got sometimes zooming in to see if I missed focus or not.

It's about there. Somewhere between late afternoon and early evening.
Today hasn't been too bad. A lot better than yesterday, anyway. Yesterday was one of those days at work that I've learned to dread. Nothing but problems...

They were still up at 1am! So I made them go to bed. Even then they kept jumping out of bed with excuses to stay up! At about 10 the next morning we headed to the zoo, but Hannah said she wanted to go home, so we took her home then went to the zoo without her.

Please help me find some musical solidarity. Many years ago I heard a track on late night radio by a woman named Iris DeMent, I was impressed and searched out her other stuff which was really excellent, then I came across a duet with John Prine.... wow the guy was amazing. Several years and many albums later the guy is still a genius yet I have trouble finding anyone on this side of the pond who has even heard of him let alone appreciates his work.
C'mon left pondians (or right if there are any) make me feel inclusive and hugged.. John Prine musical genius.

Yes, that's him. Brian Ibbot, who does the podcast called Coverville (http://www.coverville.com/) has played tons of covers of that song. In fact, he once devoted an entire episode to nothing but covers of it. I found that episode impossible to listen to. I don't like that song at all...
