I'll have to look at the vid again. I didn't notice.

That's a sweet song for a first dance. Josh and Jess will use Sinatra (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iXyM6TCMIU)'
That type of music is tough for me to dance to....
I was 8 then. Ha - I'm older than you. :)You don't have to rub it in.:(

We were at a party
His ear lobe fell in the deep
Someone reached in and grabbed it
It was a rock lobster (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szhJzX0UgDM)
I like that one...B52s are a weird group.

ALWAYS!! Metallica ROCKS!! They play metallica everyother song here on one of the local stations in the evening.
I was eleven little girl
When I first read this I thought it said "I was eleven and a little girl"

Last Dance (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VY60CkP1qAc) - this is a fun song - the whole CD is fun actually. He sings a great version of Feeling Good.
Ooooo...I like that song...which movie was it from? I think the one with Debra Messing going to England for her sisters wedding...can't remember the name!!

JOsh and Jess have taken dancing lessons for years - last couple yrs they've been doing ballroom and wanted to do a Fox Trot for their first dance.

Their Entrance song is Queen's version of the wedding march from the Flash gordon Movie.

YOu should hear their line up of tunes. It is way eclectic and it will be a blast!

O, Death
O, Death
Won't you spare me over til another year
Well what is this that I can't see
With ice cold hands takin' hold of me
Well I am death, none can excel
I'll open the door to heaven or hell
Whoa, death someone would pray
Could you wait to call me another day
The children prayed, the preacher preached
Time and mercy is out of your reach
I'll fix your feet til you cant walk
I'll lock your jaw til you cant talk
I'll close your eyes so you can't see
This very air, come and go with me
I'm death I come to take the soul
Leave the body and leave it cold
To draw up the flesh off of the frame
Dirt and worm both have a claim
O, Death
O, Death
Won't you spare me over til another year
My mother came to my bed
Placed a cold towel upon my head
My head is warm my feet are cold
Death is a-movin upon my soul
Oh, death how you're treatin' me
You've close my eyes so I can't see
Well you're hurtin' my body
You make me cold
You run my life right outta my soul
Oh death please consider my age
Please don't take me at this stage
My wealth is all at your command
If you will move your icy hand
Oh the young, the rich or poor
Hunger like me you know
No wealth, no ruin, no silver no gold
Nothing satisfies me but your soul
O, death
O, death
Wont you spare me over til another year

Grad Night at Disneyland. Disneyland has special parties for the local high schools. We had free run of the place from 10pm to 6am.

I usually only shave when I have to meet someone and look neat. Yesterday, I had a meeting with a customer, so had to be suited and clean. I can go about 10 days or so without shaving (I tend to shave it off when it starts getting itchy).

Man....I wish I lived closer to Disneyland....bet that was fun. Was it a lot of different high schools for the area?

I've done 10 days before...when I was on a vacation. I get past the itch, but shave when I have to for work as I go into an office and visit location out in the field regularly.

I don't know the exact number of schools, but there were quite a few. They have, if I remember correctly, eight Grad Nights every year, covering all of the Wednesdays and Thursdays through June. Each high school is assigned one of those days. I'd guess there are probably a couple hundred schools represented at each night, from California, Nevada and Arizona. I don't know if any other states get to play.

Yeah, the lines don't tend to get too long, especially on the little kiddie rides in Fantasyland. We tried to tip the Casey Jr. train over by rocking our car.

I'll bet the Cast Members (that's Disney-speak for "employees") have just as much fun at Grad Night as the visitors.

So instead, Iwas outside next door taking pictures ;) of various frogs, snakes, butterflies, my son...oh and Joshua.

Did you desaturate them intentionally?

yes - the reds were obnoxious. I absolutely adore red, but in photos it's almost painful.

I think Lonnie has it...looks like you are outputting to AdobeRGB. The screen shot from PS looks darn near perfect.

I shot and editted them in sRGB. They have never been anything else.

Beats me, then. As long as I save my images in sRGB, they look like I expect them to in a browser. Close enough for me, anyway.

The screen shot from PS was the exact same file I posted in the macro forum, that is just how PS displays it. That is how the file looks for me in PS. Once I save the file and open it in a browser or pic/fac viewer it looks desaturated.

And if I reset my color management to NOT use my calibrated monitor profile the file looks good everywhere.

Screwed up monitor profile?? (thanks a bunch Spyder! grrr)

Thank you both for helping me confirm that this nightmare is my stupid, stupid Spyder calibrated monitor profile (are you reading this Jamie?). I had suspected this, but had no real way of confirming.

With the BAD monitor profile off (just using the generic sRGB) NOW when I open the files I posted in Macro, they look just as washed out in PS as they do here on the forum. Not good news for those files, but GREAT news for me color management wise. :D:D:D:D:D

So - do I attempt to recalibrate with the Spyder or just chuck the POS in the bin?

Although, I would initially agree with you...these collars are not even very good quality. they snag on anything and are very, very thin. I had to burn the tip where I cut it to make it short enough to put on Joshua...then the buckle is plastic...feels very fragile. You know...I was even given a leash that matches ;).

I take a little exception to that. The rainbow flag has been adopted by the gay community and it is often used as a banner to proclaim the fact that they are gay and to show the world that they ,quite rightly, see themselves as fully valued and normal members of society. I am sure many gay and not gay people would be more than happy to have rainbow collars for their dogs.

The rainbow in Christian society also represents the covenant that God made with mankind after the flood.

In many societies and cultures the rainbow has either mystical or folk law significance's

I think your take on this is way too parochial.

But this is a fun thread so .... That is a great looking dog with a lovely collar, it looks very gay. (in the original and still equally valid meaning of the word :-) )
