I have got ot get to the track here soon and shoot Josh. We sponsor his car. I just don't want all that dust on/in my camera.

Doesn't TD have your old 5D? I should do a test with it at 50mm. Same setting, one shot with the EF 50mm Canon lens and one with the Tamron - just to compare the colors, nothing else. Would be easier with a tripod... :roll:

I'll ask him to do a comparison...he's got his 30D too and the 50 (I'm pretty sure anyway) so maybe he'll do a color comparison for us.

I almost didn't post any of them...there are TOO many good macro shooters on this thread (and tupper) and I'm quite intimidated.

I think maybe next time I'll try a tripod. I did (don't faint Dan) use MF though...the AF didn't work very well...such a shallow DOF and it kept focusing on what I didn't want it to.

They won against ARI 27-23. It's their only pre-game so far. This weekend they play SF, then STL, then SEA. Their first game of the real season is v. DET. Sun, 09SEP
