Be honest now, how many of our favorite photos happened by accident. Here is a case where the flash failed to fire, so the camera gave me a very long exposure (½ sec, f19). There was enough data in the RAW to let me squeeze this out, and I really like it. I have been trying other long exposure, non stabilized shots, but nothing I want to share yet.
He is a vendor at an open air flower market. I didn't feel like ANOTHER flower pic, so I was getting people. I do wish I had more of the left side of his face, but I don't. Any other adjustments to be done?

I like it!!!
I think the motion blur added an interesting dynamic to the picture.
It looks like a dream.
In any case...............great "accidental" capture.

I like it too - and the composition is fine. I think the face and the hat are well located in the frame.
Available light often gives you interesting coloration. This shot shows different skin tones on the two sides of the face - something you'd lose with a flash.
I wouldn't make any other adjustments. Just frame it and hang it!

I'll go along with the crowd. Sharply blurred.
The thing that really caught me about your post, though, wasn't the picture. It was the title. Check out this thread on the fredmiranda forums
for a pretty spicey debate on accidents and luck regarding photography:
