I like the first shot. I'm going to make a trip down the oregon coast in September. I think I'll try to stop by and grab this lighthous as well. Would be nice if we could see a larger image of the first.

Heceta Head light, taken from that vantage point above the Sea Lion Caves on highway 101, is one of the more popular spots for photographers... i got some shots of the same lighthouse myself last year, though on a cloudier day. i considered heading up there on my trip to the Oregon coast last week, but i was staying in Bandon, about 80 miles south, and chose to explore other parts of the coast instead... looks like i missed a good day at Heceta Head! i like the colors in your shot, but it seems a bit dark, and the horizon needs a bit of straightening... ;)

My best shot of Heceta Head light is hanging on a wall downstairs. I'll run down and see if my horizon is horizontal.
