Force Flash A540 ??

How do I force flash my A540? Can I do it in Auto? or do I need to switch to another setting? Can anyone help me with this?

EDIT - Wait, are you talking about "flash upgrading" the software - like, the raw hack ?

On my A570, I push the top portion of the paddle switch, and it cycles from OFF to AUTO to ON, in modes other than green box, where its OFF to AUTO. Not sure if yours is the same, but probably.
