This weekend's theme is TIME. Lots of room for interpretaion here, so be fanciful! (Now watch: I won't be able to think of thing!)

The usual rules apply:

- take photos from sunup Friday until sundown Sunday
- post photos by Monday or when you have time
- usual forum rules for image posting apply which means max 800 pixels on longest side and max 2 attachments

Have fun.

I've been away from this thread for far too long (weekends seem to be getting busy all the time).

A bit of time lapse from today.

This morning - torrential rain. (the white blobs are rain, caught in the flash, not snow as you might think)

This afternoon - pretty much all dried up

Hey Petey good to *see* you here again. Great job on the interpetation.. doesn't look like any of your neighbors moved from shot to shot all the cars are in the same places! Could you send some rain this way... I haven't seen any in months!

We haven't seen rain for a month here. Not as bad as you, Joayne. I feel for you. And, yes, Pete, I thought that white stuff was snow in your 1st shot and was surprised to see it. I like your interpretation. And I envy your green grass. Our grass is so brown and brittle that it hurts to walk barefoot on it!

We had one of our best wekends of the month so we decided tak a step back in TIME and visit Fort Lennox, a National Historic site.

An overview of the Fort

I didn't get a chance to see what the theme was while I was away on vacation but I am sure I can find something related to Time from my shots Friday. Hopefully I can post a shot or two later tonight.

Fort Lennox looks like fun. Bet you enjoyed it. Good timing with your 2nd shot.

We had some nice weather too, so I went for a long walk in a nearby town looking for "Time" shots. Well, looking for shots was actually an excuse to enjoy the weather. I found this: A business that TIME passed by. I wish I knew what type of business this used to be.

And here's a different slant on the theme:

Thanks BLS, it was a lot of fun. We decided to act like tourists and see what was close by and did it as a day trip, little picnic and all.
Timing was almost perfect, ths smoke you see is from the percussion cap I missed the actual shot from the barrell.
I have another one from a different angle that shows it a little better(not as good a shot) and will try and post it to-night.
Love your first shot really makes you think about what activities took place on that corner back when it was in business.
I like to try and find out about the old buildings I shoot, it makes it a little more personal.
Your second shot bring back bad memories of music class in school, never could get the hang of it.

Joayne, it's been quite a while since I've seen anything like that. Does the radio work? What make is it? And that white doily on top is a perfect complement.

We haven't had a colour for a while how about Blue? or we could do reflections?
I'm at work and only checked in to see what was happening.
I'm open to anything.

New thread here.

We'd had 'riot of colour' recently so I went with another idea. Hope everyone's happy with it.
