Help with sports lens

My Bigma fell this week and the end broke off. I think it can be repaired without much problem, however, I have a Tournament (Baseball full size field) next weekend. I needsomething for, thought I might get something different to try abd see how it compares to the Bigma. Budget is Under $1k.

Bodies 1dmk1 and 20d. I also have a 80-200L.

If you need zoom capability, there is not much to choose from. Why would you want to try something different??

Thought about that and might, but was thinking I ould try something different and see which I like better.
