Many thanks for your kind words. It was taken on a beach at Pensarn near Abergele. The head land you see to the left is Ros on Sea-Colwyn Bay.

Fantastic shot, love the sky! :) A few years ago now but I have stayed in Llandudno (or as you welsh say Clandudno), just round the corner from there. Really picturesque area, especially the cliffs which I can't remember the name of. Would like to visit there again now that I've got my new Xti.

The welsh may say Clandidno but from manchester england where i come from we say LLandudno. The cliffs your talking about are called the Great Orme and the little Orme. The little Orme is at the near end towards Colwyn Bay and the great Orme at the far end.

as l said before the sunrise at 4am is l think fantastic , but the life me l cant get out of bed and go on the beach that early , dont worry l have tried with no luck
