I noticed some graphic utilities strip the exif data, even though I did not configure it to do so. I want to take the exif data from the original raw and stuff it into the output tiff. Is it possible to do it in one quick copy / paste move without having to manually edit the fields in? thanks.

You'll need a special Exif editing program to do that. Your conventional image editing programs, such as PS, is not going to have that capability.

Thanks. Can you recommend one? It would be preferrable to use one that will stuff all fields in a single move as opposed to manually editing each individual field. /Dan

I use ExifTool (http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/) under linux. There's a Windows version as well.
