Sorry CD, but they just don't do anything for me. Two problems, I think, both related to the low, flat lighting. With such low lighting, there is a lot of out of focus/blur on most of them. Additionally, the nature of the lighting dulls out all the shots.

I am not quite sure what motif you were going for, "Artist at Work" or "Blue Collar Hero", but I was thinking of the "Perils of Industrialization" shots of 100 years ago. In any event, I don't see it coming through here. If "Artist at Work" is the intention, then you need better lighting and sharpness.

If "Blue Collar Hero" or "Perils of Industrialization" was your goal, you might try converting them to a grainy black and white.

Problem with the shoot was lighting! Overheads--industrial. I can't bring in lighting, its not feasible to do...so, how do I correct ? I haven't edited anything in photoshor with then.

You're focus is the faucet behind the person. Therefore you subject is blurred.

I agree...........convert all series in black and white............add noise for drama.

BTW.........try to pick and choose the best 2 or 3 shots from your series and post them in one thread so we can critique the whole thing in one.

Thanks! I really hadn't thought of black and white and adding noise, but will do...and link you to a website with them all...I actually plan on editing the black box out of the picture.

This is a great shot for a black and white with selective desat.
Work with it I bet you will come out with a keeper.
