OK, here's the setup, A gretagmacbeth ColorChecker on a wall in a light beige color room with compact florescent lights with a 5D and 24-70 f2.8L lens. The results are pretty much the same as under incandescent lights with a heavy redish-orange cast.
Bring the photo up in Camera Raw and use one of the neutral patch to set the white balance with the white balance sampler resulting in a WB = 2700K.
Bring up the same phone in Capture One LE and use the same neutral patch to set the white balance with the white balance sampler resulting in WB = 1350.
What gives? I got on this track after using both raw processors on some swim meet pics I took today under heavy shade (heavy blue cast). The results were the opposite with Camera Raw computing a lower WB temperature than Capture One.
