And a nice one it is, but what kind? I don't recall ever seeing one of those before.

Thanks for the comments. It looks like I am finally getting the hang of taking sharper pictures -- now to find some eagles.

It is a Swan Goose, Anser cygnoides. The males (roosters, drakes, stallions, or ??) have the most prominent nose bump. All that I know is that they have a honking frenzy whenever anybody gets close to them. I think that they originally came from Mongolia.
