Kashmir @ Cross Linx festival, Enschede

Headliner of the Cross Linx Festival, was Danish band Kashmir (http://www.myspace.com/kashmiryeah).

Very nice to shoot something with more then half decent lighting for a change...

You might remember one of the images from the Raw Conversion challenge (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=337343) I posted a while back ;)

Lighting looked nice when you were at the center of the stage, but pretty much fell apart from the sides. Also, it was kinda centered on the singer mostly, so getting a good close up of the other musicians was next to impossible (also because of the high stage).

The singer had a tendency to hide behind the mic a bit, so that added a complication.

All shot with 1D2 and 50/1.4 or 80-200L, except #6, for which I used the 20mm.

didn't know there was a Danish band with the same name.

Really nice shots, #6 is great. Let's just hope after he sees #2 the guitarist doesn't start requiring photogs to all stand on ladders. :lol:

The backlighting on the audience in #6 is a nice touch on a great capture.
