Out of curiosity, what's your main screen? LCD or CRT?

I voted CRT but that's just because I haven't felt like buying a new one yet. When I do a LCD will replace this old 17" CRT.

I have both and struggle with the LCD. I never feel like I am seeing the "real" picture! I really depend on my CRT to give me real color. I am sure that its' days are numbered and I will be depending on the LCD.

I have a Sony Trinitron 19" CRT. It's great but at some point, I'll purchase an LCD. Up until recently, I haven't found any LCD that "wowed" me. However, I did recently look at the new HP W-series LCD's. They are almost as good as the Trinitron's.

Dell (Sony) 19 inch Trinitron. It's just too good to replace.
When it wears out, I'll probably go LCD. I think that they've improved drastically over the last couple of years.

Personally, I work on an LCD - no CRT can give me the reliability or accuracy.

I have a Viewsonic 20" Widescreen LCD. It's like heaven in a flat panel.

Wonderful for editing photos and for gaming. I'll never go back to a CRT.

Amen brother. I can try a calibration image on any CRT and it's never right. I try it on any LCD and it's usually about right. LCD also gives me more deskspace, is easier to move and produces less radiation.

I still use 2 CRTs. They're practically brand new, purchased just a few months ago. LCDs are the wave of the future, but I'm happy with what I'm currently working with.

Currently using a 19' widescreen LCD, but I think I might want to go bigger or have two of them.

I've sung the praises of and argued the benifits of CRT (good ones) over LCD for years, but the argument tends to be moot now as all the good ones have been taken of the market :(

It's a funny world, we now pretty much have to go LCD despite it not being the "best" choice.
The Best CRT's are still better than 99% of all LCDs,.
To get into the best LCDs, one needs to buy the Eizo's or other high end LCDs. (for now anyway)

Again, since CRTs are pretty much gone, I can't recommend them anymore though. So Dell LCD etc.. is most likely best choice for anyone getting into it.

I'll keep my Sony AG CRTs until they die.

One 21" CRT and two LCD.

The LCD monitors are sharper for reading text, but the CRT wins in color gamut and contrast.
