nikon forum's equivalent to these great forums????

A friend of mine has some 35mm slr nikon stuff and he is thinking about getting the D70. Any good forums for nikon folks?

Dpreview.com is the only one I know of. Not very great because, to get any info. out of there you have to sift through the hundreds of point less posts.

Agreed. DPreview's forum structure is archaic and not user friendly.

Fred Miranda's board has a Nikon section and the people there have 18.6 million times more class than over at the snake-pit at DPReview. Have him start there and then Google NIKON FORUM and you should get a pile of hits. There are many, many loyal Nikon people out there just as fanatical about their equipment as us.

The problem is that there is little to find in their forums no matter what you do. Even if they had a forum format like about 90% of the rest of the world has, you still wouldn't find much there, because it simply just isn't there.
