I got a bunch of these in the yard. Not sure what they are though.....

Either katydids or speckled bush-crickets. I always forget which one is which.

They look like Katydids...sort of. I have never seen a bush cricket, so my vote is Katydid. Really like #1 and #3. Nice work.

Lovely shots. Think Bush crickets (UK) and Katydids (US) are the same thing- just language differences as usual.

Lovely shots of a cute little insect.

When I saw your location I was going to say it was a katydid. If you would like to see the UK version, here is a speckled bush cricket, they are just as cute as your katydids :D

How big is this? it looks to me like a young Katydids BUT the bottom one looks more like a bush cricket but yea it depends on how big these are becus if its fully grown what i very much doult it could be a cricket i know the Katydids get quite large can be as big as preying mantis! Brilliant shots BTW!!!
