I have been a regular lurker for some time now. I went out with my son the other day and we went on a photography assignment...nature!

Any and all suggestions or comments are welcomed. I am wanting to get better with my photography hobby.

The pix were taken with my Canon A70. Most shots were with a wide open aperture(2.8 or 4.8 ) shot in aperture priority mode. I had the white balance set to the cloudy preset, ISO 50, center weighted metering, and flash off.

Welcome, glad to have you here. I looked at your gallery, and some of your shots look quite promising indeed. Please select one or two and post them here individually for more specific critique.

I like the first three fence pics. You took a pretty mundane subject and made it interesting.
