Ok gang, here goes, this was mine and my wife's first night out with the DRebel to just go take some photos. We had a blast and I keep getting more and more hungry to make the shots better. These pictures are rather large, so I'll do 'em in 2 different posts. Please let me know what you think.
Other than that, it was as follows before conversion. Also, for some reason there were several TIF files that Photoshop wouldn't let me save as .jpg unless I "saved the for web" and the ones that it did, it would only do so after I did an Auto Adjust on Color, Contrast and Color, so I'm sorry to say this is not just a .jpg of the RAW file but those autos are the only things that have been done. I do know that what looks like "graininess" in the picture was actually a haze that started about 100 yards out from where we were standing.

the only thing I can possibly recommend is to reposition yourself in front of those first trees so we can see more of the bridge or simply move higher up so you can look over the trees.

Also, maybe go on a day where the view to the bridge isn't hazy....but the haze behind the bridge really adds to the photo.

Whilst I agree with eviltangerine I would also add that the image is not level and needs rotating anti-clockwise. You could also adjust the blue curve to remove some of the cast, caused by the haze which would help to increase the colour depth.

Otherwise, nice image - the low setting sun gives it a nice warm glow.

Thanks folks, I'll try and go back and take the shot again, I know of a couple other places that I should be able to get a differnet position on the bridge.
I'm glad you said that about the haze, I kinda thought that as well, but wasn't really sure.
