I think that there are underwater housings made for most of the Canon compacts, though it depends what depth you are looking for since some are only good to ~3m I think.
See Digideep (http://www.digideep.com/english/digital/photo/camera/Canon/7) for an exhaustive list.
Can't comment on any of them I'm afraid since I haven't bought one yet, but I have been looking into it.
Hope that helps.

These are housings to fit Canon P&S. 36 Canon, 15 Ikelite, 2 Bonica, 4 Ewa-Marine (ZipLocs).
Many to fit older P&S, only a few for the newer P & S, so if you've got an old one, they may still have it. If you're looking at newer ones, you need to check for camera and housing at the same time. A570 and A710 both have housings available.

I own a Canon WP-DC50 which is made specifically for my CanonA95.....it is excellant and is rated for 130 feet. It's controls match every control on the camera itself.

I have one for my SD450. It's only rated to 10', but all I wanted is one I can canoe with and use as a cam mounted on my motorcycle. You will not believe the quality of these cases. The only problem is that the case will definitely outlive the camera, and they are super specific. I am thinking about getting a back up SD450 for just this reason.

How do you connect your camera to your motorcycle? That sounds like fun and could produce some interesting shots.
