I'm away for work at the moment and I'm trying to hook up my IXUS 800IS to my laptop (Win XP). Trouble is, I don't have the Canon software CD with me, so I'm trying to download the necessary software from the web.
I've downloaded the Canon Camera Twain Driver (6.6.3) from the Canon web site, but when I try and run it, it gets so far and then I get the following error:
"TWAIN Driver file for Windows XP not found. Exit the installation"
Does anyone know why this is happening? Is there some other bit of software I should be loading first? All I want to do is hook the cam up so I can download the pics to the laptop - don't want any fancy browsing or editing or anything like that.
Thanks
