Very Nice... I love how the bright lights of Manhattan reflect off of the clouds on a night such as that. Well done!

PM me a higher resolution as an attachment or link. I think I can get it. And it is amazing.
I took a lot of pictures with my old Rebel G of the island. I grew up in NYC, in Brooklyn, Avenue J, to be exact. But I was a temp and worked in several great places in Manhattan. When my husband finished law school, we moved to NJ and he worked at Two World Trade. I miss that view of downtown very much. When I go there, I get this really sad feeling, something wonderful was lost. As beautiful as the view is today, I still have an image in my mind of the way things used to be. Your shot is really terrific.

If it weren't for that modern building in the lower left, the shot would look like it was taken in the 1930s. Very nice.

I'll be staying in North Bergen and look fwd to going to this park to take pics. I was also going to take pics at the pier across from Houlihan's and also from Blvd E.
Very nice pics.

You definitely have the "Magic Eye"... I particularly like how you see the photographic value in things like the abandoned pier. There are tons of abandoned and run-down places and things around the five boroughs that are set against a backdrop of the hustle and bustle of everything else. They almost always catch my eye, and if you can compose it a certain way, it has great storytelling value. Great shots!
