How does the red-eye reduction work on this camera, mine doesn't do a double flash when set to redeye reduction, does everyone elses do a double flash and I think mine used to? Should I send it back?
Thanks
Dave :)

For red eye reduction, the IXUS 60 (SD600) uses a separate lamp located near the viewfinder, above the lens.
Check pg. 12 of the Advanced User Guide (#7 on the drawing) and pg. 9 of the Basic User Guide for more information.

I'm not familier with your camera, but if it's not working, and you can return it, then you probably should. As for myself, I have never checked the red eye reduction on any of my current cameras, because I don't care if it works or not. It just takes a second to fix red eye in PP. So why anoy tour subjects with all that pre-flash bull?
