have crumpler 6 mil bag and looking for bag that closes better maybe with zipper (not open on sides like crumpler) and can carry the above package mounted in shooting position (lens down). the 6 mil is too small and even the 7 mil by measurements still would be tight leaving sides open.
i also have the 17-55 2.8is but wish to be able to have the ability to carry either lens mounted. the slingshot 300aw is just too big and not a fan of the straps... i liked the 200 better but it doesn't fit as i'd like.
someone must make a shoulder bag that works although i haven't found one and did check cambags.com.
thanx

I've had feedback on this forum that the urban disguise 40 bag will in fact allow a 30D and 70-200 (even the bigger 2.8 verison), fit mounted on the camera in the interior compartment.

I was debating myself between UD and crumpler 7MDH. So many said that the 70-200 mounted will not fit stored vertically on the 7MDH. So I am waiting for the UD to come into stock to buy that one.

The UD 30 will not do what you want, but (from the information and feedback I saw so far), the UD 40 will.

Hope this helps.

the UD30 and 40 are the same height and will both hold a 30D with an attached 70-200 f/2.8L. I think the f/4 is shorter - it should fit without any issue.
