What are camera drawers? People who draw cameras? A part of the furniture? Underwear? Or something totally different? :)

What the op is refering to is a dry cabinent. I also noticed that they didnt really sell these in NA because it is rather dry compared to asia. I bought mine for $100CDN when I was in hk a month ago. I didnt pack it right and the glass on the door didnt make the trip. So it is getting repaired now. Here are some pics, excuse the poor quality, kinda rushed them

Oh and the cabinent can only control the relative humidity, not the temperature.

You can do the same thing with an old refrigerater , put a 7 1/2 watt light bulb in a lamp and put on timer [ mine is set at 1 hour a day and close the door .
Don't plug in refer -
I kept my guns , powder etc in it .
I ALSO TIE DOOR SHUT WITH ROPE .

this is what I'm talking about, I wasn't able to find a word what to call them..haha
plus, I might have to move near by the sea port...that the reason I'm getting it. So I guess I will need to get it next time when I goto HK then.
thanks

I tried sending them an email about a replacement door, but no response. I think its best for you to buy one in hk. Shipping will kill you, lol

like a camera humidor?? but opposite? cant you just get something airtight like a big cooler and put a cloth sack full of sillica gell in there with your equipment? I dunnu, i really never thought of the ambient humidity in my house.. plus the AC takes alot of it out.
