I've been trying to reverse engineer the algorithm used by my Cannon PS A50 to decide when a new directory under DCIM should be created. ie the structure is:
/DCIM/nnnCANON/AUT_xxxx.jpg
The camera stores between 1 and 83 images in each "nnnCANON" directory but I can't figure out what triggers the creation of a new directory.
Does anyone know this?
