Am I doing something wrong?

When I post pictures on this site, they don't turn out nearly as crisp and clean as when they are in Lightroom. Colors lose pop and they are not sharp as the original. I use Photobucket to transfer them and something is getting lost. What could I be doing wrong? Don't ask to show examples as I can't transfer pictures correctly.

I use Photobucket to transfer them - they are not sharp I think they have an option to show the actual sized uploaded pic, but if you don't select that when you upload, you get a downsized version. Colors lose pop They were saved in sRGB?

Thanks so much for the quick reply! You were correct about the sized pics. There's an option to upgrade to "Pro Size" for a fee. I don't mind the fee, but are there any better web based options out there? I see so many posts with outstanding picture quality. Mine may not be great, but they're certainly better than what's posting.

There's an option to upgrade to "Pro Size" for a fee. I don't have that. "select that when you upload," is something everyone can use.
To see if you've got it right, open a pic in PB, then click on it & see if you get the original uploaded size. Use that to link to. If you don't get the bigger pic, then look for the full size option before you upload.

I think I'm screwing up all over the place. I've just started using Lightroom, and I'm sure that I'm not importing properly. Thanks for your help. I'll change a few more things and hope it works.

"select that when you upload," There's an "Options" link. I'm using the 1 MB one, but my uploads only average 100KB, & it seems to link OK to the original uploaded size.

I checked the options link in PB and saw I was importing in 800 x 600 versus the 1mb. Also, noticed I've been exporting in Adobe RGB instead of sRGB. Hopefully if I change these things will look better.
