Senior Portraits

I am wanting to start taking Sr. Pictures but have never done this. I have done weddings (several years ago with film) and Child Portraits but never Seniors. Can I get some sugestions on pricing, and when to advertise.
They are not done with the additon on our house (28 X 28) room that will be used as a studio and it looks like September before completed. I am cutently using a spare bedroom for a make shift studio for now.

I shoot with a Canon 10D, and have an Elan 7E for backup. Is the Elan 7 a good enough back up?
