JDM for the win!

Lovely shots, I like the low sunlight on them too. The ITR looks heavily fettled?

Maybe the integ would want to clean his rims and tires? Kind of distracting to me in pic 4, but then again I am a detailer. :)

I'm not a detailer, but i'm pretty anal about washing/waxing, so picture 1 bothered me a bit. There is a bunch of dust on the door right behind the front wheel :p

Otherwise, beautiful cars :)

The building is blown out. I would use a custom white balance, and use the building as my white source. other than that...clean the dc2 wheels and shoot again.

JDM FTW

Nice rides but I do prefer the Honda. I like #3 best, more interesting.

Shoot in RAW. It takes much more room and slows down PP, but you want have that 'STUPID WB' moments anymore.

Not harsh comments, but just some things i see right off:
1) Just use the Hue/Saturation tool in PS, and knock the blue down a touch, it will compensate for the off WB a little bit. Also, try not to use so much of a extreme angle. I know the effect you are going for, but just turn the camera clockwise a little bit.

2) Either zoom further in, are zoom out a touch and not have the roof line clipped, and take a step to the right.

3) Nothing jumps out, but the background. It is very busy and kinda detracts from the cars. Maybe try focusing only on the Jetta, and having the rest blurred.

4) Rotate the photo 4 degrees clockwise. It has a slight tilt that i dont think it appealing. Bascially just straighten out your horizon.

5) If you do a head on shot, have your background square with the car. When you have it angled like so, your 'horizon' (where the wall meets the ground) becomes so too. Also the white poles arent working when not evenly spaced.

Again not trying to harsh, just some things that i myself, an ametuar, see and would want someone to tell me. Good luck when you re-shoot.

hey thanks man i appreciate the fact that u made sure you didn't come off in a bad way, thats real constructive criticism and yea i've had better work, i just wanted to share, i now always use custom white balance and now that i have a much larger memory card i can do more RAW pictures. I gotta say working at one of the best camera stores in the country opens lots of doors for new gear and tips for the pros that work there.
