got a big question regarding shutter speeds. I have been playing around with some good setting for taking pictures out in sunny days. This is what I came up with

1/200
F11
no Exp.
ISO 100
No flash I'm using the lens Kit.

Now if you take a look at this gallery.

He used

1/30,1/80,1/100,1/125,1/160, and 1/200 for shutter speeds.
everything stayed the same

F16
No Flash
ISO 100

And I really like the way all his pictures came out.

Now I know using TV,AV,or M is recommened to have more control of the camera and your shots. But how do you know when to adjust the Shutter speed the way all those pictures were taken all diffrent shutter speeds and everythig stayed the same??? Or does it seem he used Auto Mode. Lately I use Auto Mode to see what camera suggests and go from there. But at times it seems I really like the exposure that the camera selects in Auto mode not much more to fix.

Hiya!!!

The guy was probably on AV mode. He probably had his Aperture set on f16 and the camera chose the corresponding shutter speed to properly expose the photograph.
