Stoped by a local garage that works on these things. Please let me know what you think.

I have a industrial grade lock on my bike's rotor to keep people from rolling away with it, and on the end of the lock, is that same tag "Remove before flight"

Very much so. Literally my favourite plane. I could watch the last 14 minutes of The Right Stuff on loop forever...

I've got you covered... Very nice shots. Not used to seeing them 'indoors'. I think it's one of only 2 still flying.

Very odd aircraft, it really looks like a missle with some seats on top.

I think I know the primary pilot for that particular aircraft...if it is normally based in AZ.
(There's not that many of them flying in the US, so the odds are pretty good that that is Mark's 104.)

The Person who owns the ones here in Clearwater FL is named rick and he has 9 of them
only 1 of the 9 is running and as soon as the engine gets back he will have #2 running they are completely re doing them all

based at clearwater / St Pete airport?

I suspect it's a small community and Rick probably knows Mark and vice versa.

9 of them! wow!

I'd love to get shots of them all lined up sometime.

Yes Clearwater/ St. Pete airport

there is only 2 of them finished as far as the 9 go and 1 out of these 2 is still waiting on an engine being rebuilt. But they seem to be working very hard to get the rest of them done. I am sure you will start to see them at more and more air shows.
