OK, so the Dragonfly I saw on the bush was (of course) gone 30 sec later when I came back out with my cam, so I thought I'd post a Forget-Me-Not in its honor.

Frank,
Damn things never stay around long enough!
Great shot of the Forget-me-not.

I'm happy you liked it. The Dragonfly didn't seem to want to move. I looked at it from about 6" away & it didn't react. Moved my head to catch the reflections on it's wings & it still didn't move. So I thought maybe it wasn't feeling well (an overactive Friday night?), so I slowly went inside to get the camera. I guess it just liked the attention &, when I left, so did he! :)

(an overactive Friday night?)
That's where I made my mistake - It was Wednesday when I tried, all I got was empty leaves, grasses, out of focus dragonflies, etc. I deleted 100+ shots
OK all you guys out there, who photograph insects, etc - how do you get them to stay still long enough and pose for the camera?
