Hi,
I'm just curious, if I'll put 1GB CF card into the Rebel, will it handle it properly? I mean, for instance, if quality is set to Small, the counter at the LCD won't display more than 999 shots remaining... What it will display then?

Does anybody have such an experience using 1GB or larger compact flash card? Worth it?

Thanks

Instead of displaying 999 it will display 666

Actually that is a good question.

I use one with no problems at all...however, I never set the camera for less than the highest quality JPEG, so it never reads more than ~300 pics available.

Can you try it just for test, please? :)

Actually, Small quality, IMHO, is just enough for printing 4x6 pics without post processing/cropping/zooming. Saying 'Small' I mean one which is second from the bottom of quality list. Not the 'smallest' one.

Yiu can definately use a 1 gig,. many use the 4gig cards.. and yes.. the counter simply "pegs" at 999... and stays reading 999 untill you get to 998 shots left.. however many shots that may be
