Hi,
Just travelling to the UK soon for my OE, so Im trying to find a good travel day bag.

I dont want a hard case Pelican, but more of a soft comfortable smallish backpack (or side bag) that doesnt scream tourist with a expensive camera. Must have zips that locks can go onto it or have fewer pockets so that pickpocketers dont have a chance.

Basically comfortable, basic, and camera gear protective. And more compact than my current Lowepro Mini Trekker AW (I prefer not to take this as it always creates too much attention). To fit a SLR + up to 3 lenses.

There is plenty to choose from but I cant decide, so any recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Depending on the three lenses, check out the Domke F-3x or F-803. No zippers, but the velcro will let you know if someone tries to get in there.

The Think Tank Urban Disguise series is a good low profile series of bags. I have a UD50 and it holds 2 bodies, 4 lenses, flash, notebook and all that stuff you need. It looks like a briefcase rather than a camera bag. Check them out....

Check out http://www.kata-bags.com They make some very very nice bags that are almost bullet proof. If you need something that is bullet proof they also make body armor.

CelticRaven's Kata bag even has a butt on it. ;-) (I just like giving him crap about his bag)

The butt is even armored with kevlar.... no bs... it is a stout bag... I am looking at a few of their smaller ones for more when I need to be more portable.
