Playing round with my guitar amp

hi guys,

playing round with taking pics of my amp from different angles... want to do some macro stuff really but still saving for a proper macro lens so this is with my 18-55 kit lens!! some c&c would be great... this is the first time I've actually tried taking random object photos.

this was taken with a desk lamp and a mini difuser I got given free with a magazine a while back :)

the adjustments were just done with saturation, gamma etc. through Preview on the mac. thought it looked quite cool though!

A lot of detail is lost when you turn up the contrast

I think it'd be nice to see a little more of the amp. A different angle would do it for me

Does that volume knob go to 11?
