I think its a Collins Class sub

Nice shot. I live 5 minutes from where they were built and am yet to see one in transit to anywhere

I checked the Port of Melbourne website and its docked at Station Pier for most of the weekend, gonna try and get down there for spme pics

There's not too much classified above the water line. I dont see why they would stop you getting to the boarding plank. They are a huge leap forward compared to the old Oberon calss boats.
