This is my first time posting some pics. C&C welcome, I need it. I tried making the marks on the ground in pic #2 stand out, couldn't figure it out.
I really like #3.

BTW, no Photoshop or anything. Just shot and posted.

I find the first to be most dramatic with the strong lighting varieties,
shadows and back lighting on the jeep.

secon is the best. 1 and 3 do nothing for me

You were working under very difficult lighting. Those damn (sodium or mercury, I can't remember which) vapor lights really make everything so orange.

would putting the second one on b&w be better though?

I really like the second one. You have turned the nasty orange street lighting to your advantage. I really like it. Living in the UK, you get those nasty lights in nearly all night shots!
I envy photographers who live in countries with those cool white/greeny lights :)

The second one is really cool. I like it. Looks almost CGIed.

#2 is cool. It gives me that 3AM kinda vibe.

I like the second one and if you want to go out and try it again, a portrait view taken closer to the ground might work well.

Thanks, that is what I was going for.

Wow I didn't realize anyone replied to this thread. I didn't have notifications on. Thank you all for C&C.

I had a 1TB external hard drive fail on me, so all my pictures are gone. It was nice to look back at these.

You gotta be kidding man... All of em?

If I were you I would DEFINITELY pay some serious bucks to restore the data on that drive...At least look into the possibility. Its more than worth it if you lost all that stuff...

Nice pictures, BTW what mode did you shoot these pics ?? I always have difficulties getting nice shots in the dark.

Thanks in advance....

Yep all of em, it would cost me from $1500 to over $3000. Most of the photos on the drive were just beginner stuff, so no worries. I do wish I still had them.

As for the mode, it was just manual, not sure about the settings as it was a while ago and I didn't write anything down. They were shot with a Rebel XTI right outta the box on a tripod.

I usually take many photos of the same thing with different settings to see what I come up/out with.

What was your focus point for pic #1?

The correct WB will fix the "orangy" look from those street lights... Pretty sure you want it set to tungsten, but i could be wrong.. Here's my example from the same kind of lighting...

Damn... that is way too much. How many photos did you lose?
