exposure was off..... way to dark and grainy. theres so much to see in the shot, but u cant!! flash would have helped or a tripod.

I like the columns and detail but I would have liked to see a closer view. The addition of the woman makes it look like a snapshot and her legs are cut off. Same as already mentioned, too grainy and dark. Some contrast adjustment might turn out an acceptable shot if you go for an abstract texture look.

thanks for u r replies, I shot this long back in 2004, without SLR & it was shot on film camera and I scanned the photograph and posted it.

Now, now.....I hope we are not gunna reduce this thread to a Filmaphobic persecution. Have to agree that it looks like a snap shot though, is a shame it didn't come out better and then you could've cropped ti improve the framing.

Ya, I was out off photo at the time when I posted it and I really love the aura or atmosphere of this cave. In some months time I will visit these caves again with my 400D & then I will post the new photos in Digital format. :)

I look forward to seeing your retakes. You need something in the scene to give an indication of size to the columns.
