Candid at the ball park

I am very new to all this stuff am having fun learning, I use a program that came on the computer to "enhance" my photos. It is called HP image shop. My wife thinks I mess them up too much, all i do is hit the auto enhance then usually darken a bit then add contrast and finally sharpen a little.
This was taken at US Cellular field yesterday ( Socks win!) Do you think it is "overdone" PP wise. I know the backgriund hand is bad but I don't know how to take it out.

You are right, I wanted to get more in front but the place was filling up. I also did not want them to see me, so I was creepy...

I kinda like the young to old fading and sizing out, kinda what I am doing...
