First and last are great :) The rest aren't quite as striking to my eye :)

the last one's amwesome, the exit one is also rad. good dynamic range in the second, although the subject isnt particularly fascinating. good work! in response to your comment on my staredown in amsterdam, i did do the DOF in photoshop. i rarely cheat but thought it would do nicely here. peace.

thank you for your comments. 1 & 4 are light painted.
Mike, I couldnt agree more.
there is something about 2 that I like but I do feel like it is missing something also.
I am extremely pleased with the way "the exit one" turned out.
I also agree the ("cheated" as you say) DOF of your Amsterdam photo works out rather nicely.
thanks again

#1, #5, and #8 are my favorites. The top of the stairs in #1 seems a bit blown out, but overall I love the photo. I like the lighting and compostion of the last two, with #8 being the best shot of the series.

thank you for the pleasant comments.
I enjoyed shooting these. I was having a really good day creatively when 5 through 8 were shot.
Zippy, the top of #1 is a bit blown out. the bottom half of the photo is light painted so there was a pretty good light range going on there. I took a few exposures and this was the best.
1 and 5 seem to be the winners
thanks again
