This is my first post in this section. I figured these old cars, trucks and tractors were better off here than in Landscapes. Some of these pics have had a good deal of post processing as well. I'd appreciate any comments, criticism or advice on these, as I'm a relative noob to all this. Thanks for looking!

Bryan, I like # 2. The light looked just about perfect. ;) They're all good though.
I wonder if any of those are worth restoring?

Very nice series. I think the first tractor shot is my favorite. Its got great contrast and the sepia really works well.

I'm liking #2, but next time, how about shooting something with paint on it? :D

Got PS? You can easily do a LOT of things with a Layer mask. See post #9; PS Elements in Post # 14

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

My answer on how to get the sky black, I used a circular polarizer on all these shots. That will darken the top of the sky in general. In Photoshop CS3, I duplicated the background layer, set the blending to Multiply to darken and saturate the colors more, and created a mask in that layer. I then used either a brush or gradient fill(which, to me, sort of duplicates using a GND) to lighten up the foreground (in these cases the vehicles). In the B&W and sepia, I used the Black & White option and cut back on the Blue and Cyan levels until they looked good to me. :) Then a little boost in Brightness and Contrast.
