I took a photo of this tank yesterday. What is it?

Looks a lot like an M26 Pershing Tank, possibly a Chaffee, but I am not sure on either. It appears to be US, and looks most like the Pershing.

Oh, I actually think I agree with ShannyD on this...I forgot about the M60s

Yeah looks like a M60 :) The bottom is based on the M26 :)

What is it? Is this a quiz? Next time look for the serial number? :D

So it's an M60 series? I hadn't a clue - it was outside the American Legion in St Mary's Ohio. I was thinking it was a Sherman but then I don;t have much of a clue about military equipment. I'll send it to my stepson when I know what it is - I don;t want to look a complete dork by mis-identifying it.
