Craig's '65 Studebaker Commander has a 413cid Chevy motor that puts out over 500bhp & turns a 10.8 sec, 125mph quarter mile with the bottle. It runs at 13:1 compression, & has a 400 turbo trans with a 5300 stall converter pushing a 4.56 chevy 12-bolt rear end. Weight is 2,900 pounds.

Gas mileage at a sedate 2,500 rpms is about 4mpg. He's had it for 5 years & doesn't take it far from home.

That car looks so deceiving. I wouldn't be able to tell that it was fast as hell unless, I heard the engine roaring. I'm waiting on a classic car show in October and there are lots of classics around my way. Can't wait to go. Nice shot Photosguy.

Thanks, Marie! I'm waiting on a classic car show in October and there are lots of classics around my way. Best of luck at it!

Quick question. If I was shooting midday like you did here. Would a CPL help alot in reducing reflection on the paint? I have no experience shooting autos so, maybe that would help alot. Thanks in advance.

If I was shooting midday like you did here. Would a CPL help alot... These were taken at about 5:30 PM & it was very overcast - not ideal, but you don't have a choice of time of day sometimes. I don't use a CPL. Generally, I don't like the effect & would rather work with the light that is there, so I don't carry it with me. Ideally, I prefer to wait until later to shoot (and have a black car, too!) :D
