Every picture i take with my 300D there's this little green dot in the same place every time. it's about the size of a pixel and u can really only tell when u zoom in. it's not the lense cuz it's there no matter what lense i use. what could it be?

My 10D has a blue one somewhere on the lower right corner.. It only shows up in black areas and is easy to clone out the very odd time it gets in the way.

Canon can fix it.. They can map it out using special software. The problem is that depending on how busy your nearest repair depot is.. It can take a few weeks. If the dot is really annoying, it might be worthwhile sending it in..

If you just got the camera, you might want to see if the seller will exchange it.. They won't always do it, but it's quicker than sending it in for warranty work.
